The Bryant Rotary Club hosts the Rubber Duck Derby each year at Mills Park in Bryant. People travel from all over Arkansas to watch the 5000 rubber ducks race down the man-made river. Each duck has been adopted for just $5. They are each labeled with a number that matches the ticket of the "adopter." The top 10 ducks will receive a prize valued at $500+. The top two ducks win the grand prizes.
Before the duck race, the day is filled with family fun at Mills Park. It starts at 8AM with the Duck Derby Dash 5K, followed by a Fun Run at 9AM, Festival at 10AM, and the Duck Derby at noon. Festival includes jump houses, carnival games, and LOTS of prizes. Admission to the festival is free.
The Rubber Duck Derby is all about raising funds for local nonprofits such as The Rotary Kids Closet, Bryant Youth Association, and Imagination Library of Saline County.
